Man Congrats to Smyrna !!! Its amazing how bad down state football has been. Smyrna has too back to back good seasons and only so far 1 state title maybe too but have not yet. Newark and William Penn were Dynasty's in 80's and 90's. I never heard all this hype about them. Then Middletown had a 5 year run in state finals and never heard all this hype. Come on people they are good but hell they are not no dynasty yet...... Don't sell Middletown short this year either........

Middletown was ranked in the regional ranking back in 2012, I believe 8 or 9 was the highest they received. The be ranked as high as Smyrna is, is a an accomplishment. Congrats to them

The 2012 Middletown team had a stellar defense and great offensive weapons. That isn't meant to demean this year's Smyrna team. Let the season play out....

Thanks, dove. I made the correction. 2013 MDT team was great. Only lost 2 games and that was to the Slowskys. Great rivlary. I am sure that the Cavs will be breathing fire next week.
