D2 rankings?

Woodbridge and Delmar are the top 2 teams in D2. Woodbridge beat Delmar 2 weeks ago so I’ll give them the edge at #1. Plus Delmar could be without another key player. Honestly I’d keep those teams in the top 2 even after this week.

Just for the f*ck of it, how does Woodbridge rank higher than the team that beat them on their home field? Besides the usual..."they were sick that day," ..."school lunch was bad"... "QB's girl broke up with him"... or of course..."they live below the canal"!!! SMMFH!!
AI has lost to the 8 seed two straight years. That should tell you all you need to know.

You’re putting way to much stock into a game that happened 2 months ago.
ask MT how winning the first game against Sallies worked out for them, just saying
whodey - obviously you are entitled to your opinion on ranking Woodbridge and Delmar 1 and 2, but you do seem to have a downstate/Hen South bias.
I was the only one who ever had sallies even in the playoffs in the preseason. They were my choice as champions and I predicted the rest of the teams that made the playoffs besides Appo, who had no business being there.
I just think they are the 2 best teams in the state. Yes, Friends beat a banged up Woodbridge 2 months ago. But they also struggled against a bad Lake Forest team. Wasn’t overly impressed with Tower Hill against AI. Once again, just my opinion. We will find out on the field in a few days.
if you say don't put too much stock into a game 2 months ago have the same respect for friends please. keep in mind this is the first "new" head coach in 50+ years. A small hiccup against lake should happen especially for the first game of the season; so if we're gonna be realistic lets be realistic. I'd expect both match up in the semis to be close. I do think if friends and woodbridge play it will be a very good and close game. Also that game just makes sense part 2 of a good rivalry but we'll see. Just so everyone knows Go Quakers!
Everyone puts stock in a game that was played two months ago. Look at everyone picking central over Dover even though central finally beat a team with a winning record for the first time in 2 months. Just stop trying to make sense.
Imagine if there was a way to settle this all on the field over the next week or so.

Prime example Middletown/Sallies. During the regular season Middletown crushed Sallies 35-7. What happened last weekend in the playoffs? Sallies came out ready to go and Middletown got trounced!
It's a game by game, week by week thing.
Friends/Woodbridge and Dover/Central all those teams are competitive and in 10 games nobody is winning all 10.

The bottom line is that the four remaining teams have earned the right to be where they are, one game from the State title game. Everyone can sit on this board yapping about respect and such, respect the final four. They won their first round games and have earned their place in the semi's. I'm pretty sure the teams that make it up to UD will have earned that right as well.
