Hodgson's Celine Wilson allowed 1 run, while striking out 7, to earn her third victory of the season to pace the Lady Silver Eagles of Hodgson to a 12-0 win over Brandywine. Alyssa White went 2 for 4 with a triple and 2 runs scored. Victoria Quillen had a hit for Brandywine.
Laiken Zay and Lexi Moore each had 2 hits for Smyrna with 3 RBIs. Abigail Mace and Julia Thuer added 2 runs for Smyrna, while Laiken Zay scored three times. Kayla Wilson and Zoe Wilcox each had 2 RBIs each for the Lady Eagles of Smyrna as they defeated Caravel 10-0. Sobolak went 2 for 2 at the plate for Caravel
:Lex Dowdy threw a 3 hit shutout with 8 K's. Lea Martin and Chelsea Johnson both had two hits each to lead Dover's offens to a 4-0 win. Chloe Fluharty had two hits for Cape.
J. Courtney and P. Forse each had hits for CR. K. Nagle lead Polytech going 3 for 4. Ke. Burawski, B. Stevenson, and H. Wich also added 2 hits a piece. Ka. Burawski had 11 strikeouts as the Lady Panthers of Polytech defeated the Lady Riders of Caesar Rodney 7-1.
Charlotte Rose pitched another complete game and went the distance again in giving the Yellowjackets their 4th win on the season as they defeated the Lady Dragons of Glasgow 7-5. Rose struck out 14 and set a Yellowjacket record for the program. She tied the record two games ago striking out 13 St. Marks batters. Tonight under the lights at Newark Rose yielded 5 hits, walked 4 (one intentional walk), and struck out the record 14 Dragon batters.
The young Jacket batters were led by Charlotte Rose, Shannon Eberle, Natalie Rivera, and Maudee Devlin. Each having one hit and Rose an Eberle collecting the two extra base hits in the game. Eberle a triple in the 4th inning and Rose hitting a double in the 1st inning. Newark excuted a perfect steal and bunt that led to a run scoring RBI in the 6th inning that became the winning run in the game. Maudee Devlin stole second, Katie Thompson laid down a perfect bunt and Natalie Rivera scored the run. Rose, Rivera, Thompson and Abbott each drove in a run and Rose drove in two runners.
The Dragons were led by Noelle McNulty, Skylar Brainard, and Jazzmin Haman. They collected four extra base hits in the game. Brainard and McNulty each with an inside the park home run, and Haman hitting two triples in her last two at bats. McNulty added the lone single on the night for Glasgow and was 2 for 3 in the game with one run scored. Brainard scored three times from the lead off position in the batting order for the Dragons.

5-4-19 After 7 innings of play St. Georges and Newark Charter were tied up 2-2. In top of 8th, St. Georges Hawks Softball snatched the lead scoring 2 runs for a 4-2 victory over Newark Charter School on Saturday.
St. Georges Hawks Softball racked up 10 hits on the day. Vance and Carbonara all managed multiple hits for St. Georges Hawks Softball. Vance led St. Georges Hawks Softball with three hits in four at bats.
Newark Charter School collected nine hits. Ka Noonan and Sobociaski each racked up multiple hits for Newark Charter.
Newark Charter Stubblebine threw 7 innings, striking out 7. SG Carbonara battled for 8 innings, collected the win.
Maddison Caldwell and Lydia Drake combined on the mound for the shutout. Melissa Jones got things started for Middletown which followed up with a Sac Bunt by Lilly Cera-Proulx. Pinch runner Kristina Curran steals for 3rd with an overthrow and scores to put Middletown on the board. Gabby Lano's RBI double in the 5th put an insurance run up which Carly Setting followed up with a 2 RBI hit in the 6th for Middletown. Emily Elder and Madison Perry each had a hit for William Penn.
Leading off the 5th inning Delcastle's Allison Moorehead's double broke the otherwise perfect game pitched by two Mount Pitchers as the Lady Knights won 18-0. Teagan Bradley struck out 8 of the nine batters she faced and had 3 hits including a triple. Mount's shortstop Kristin Haroldsdottir went 4 for 5, hitting for the cycle of a single, double, triple and home run, accounting for 5 RBIs and scoring 3 runs. Michelle Hughes was 3 for 4 and Brennah Scott 2 for 3 for Mount Pleasant.

The offense was led by Skye Lupi who had 4 hits including a double and triple and Rylee Waslyn who had 4 hits and 3 RBI's. Casey Best had 3 hits which included an out of the park homerun. Shannon Edelman and Delaney Mulligan also each contributed 3 hits. Brandywine's Samantha Pelletier, Taylor Stroh, and Alexa Draper each had a hit.
