Hello Everyone. There is a new facebook group dedicated to the discussion of College and High School Sports in the First State. If you are on facebook, you can search for First State Sports. The inspiration behind the group is to engage fans of amateur sports in Delaware in respectful discussion. There are strict rules that govern the group and members cannot hide behind a screen name. The intentions are to build the group's membership over the summer and have a robust, active group in time for football season. Simply send a request to join and agree to the rules.

No Bashing of High School Athletes or Coaches.
Bashing of high school athletes, coaches and officials will result in an immediate ban from the group.

Be Kind and Courteous
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

No Hate Speech or Bullying
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

No Promotions or Spam
Give more than you take to this group. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed.

Respect Everyone's Privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.

Strict rules. Yeah ok good luck with that. What are you going to do report scores and tell everyone how great everyone is? Sounds like a commune. How are you going to police what’s being said on the FB private message feature between members? Call in the Gestapo? I don’t know this sounds like a Scientology recruitment tool to me lol.

Never had Facebook and never will, not that anyone cares, just sharing

I got it I post what’s going on so OOS family members can see what’s going on without sending out a bunch of letters and phone calls. Mostly just pictures of events. Lol. I don’t participate in discussions other than sending a congrats when a friends kid graduates or something like that and private messages with IKEY and others lol. I did have some remember when dialog with some folks I grew up with though and that was fun but join one of the groups with rules umm yeah no thanks

Great idea, don’t waste your time.

Had to drag me into it huh? LOL If anyone on here doesn't know how to find me on FB, they aren't trying. I have often PM'd board members on FB, mostly on items I didn't want to say on the board, but more importantly to see how things are going in the real world. How their kids are making out in college or careers, etc. NO POLITICS PLS
