Delcastle Beats Appo!?

I'm not shocked...That Delcastle coach can flat out coach. He made me a believer in him last year. There's no way that last year Delcastle's team should've been in the Final 4 last year without good coaching.
Cale dont get 40 or better in tourney.. They have no shot.. Going Home earlier again this year...
Delcastle lost a ton of seniors from last year's Final Four team, so they're a young team that's just now putting it together. Might be too late for a tourney run this year, but they'll be back in the conversation next season.
Appo meanwhile is really limited because they have one player, great as he is, the rest of that team is inconsistent and last night against a team maybe a notch below them, it showed.

Not too late for Delcastle...w/ that schedule they could get in at 8-12 or 9-11. They are piling up bonus points w/ those losses to William Penn, AI, Mt. Pleasant, Hodgson, Glasgow & Cape on top of the win against Appo last night. They'll even get 2 points for a few of those losses which is the same number of points that you get for beating a bad team .500 or below so don't pay much attention to the records...they'll be rewarded via the point system.
I can't help but keep thinking about how most people wrote Sallies off 2 years ago entering the tournament at 10-10 & look where they ended up. I'm not saying Appo is near as good as that team but it leads me to compare the 2 teams because both teams had the best player in the state who was already signed to a major D1 school. Here in DE 1 player can usually decide a lot of games so come tourney time will Cale be as focused as Divencenzo was last year & be able to carry that team to make a run?

That second Sallies title, Donte was Donte, but they had Shane Clark playing some good ball and Paul Brown and Whittlesley taking care of business up front. I don't know if Appo has anybody in that vein who can step up and be a second option. Possibly DeLoatch and Somelofske if he gets hot from the outside, but that's about it.
I like Davis as well but was just going by the rankings that are out there & the fact that he is signed to a big D1 school already. Davis has the potential to choose anywhere he wants to go if he continues to work on his game.
Delcastle is always a sleeper team. Great coaching over there and some good unknown talent. Appo is once again over praised. They have Myles and that's it! Seen these two square off last couple years and I think Delcastle always gets the edge.
