Delaware's Finest Stars/6th Man DE 7th graders had a good showing this past weekend over in the DC area at March Mayhem hosted by Baltimore's Finest. They went 3-0 in pool play w/ wins over Havoc City Blue, Baltimore's Finest & beat Team Takeover by 25 whom they had loss to 2 weeks ago. They finished up by winnining the chip over Team Takeover this time in a much more competitive game w/ a 1-point win. Standout players were:
Adrian Watts 6'1 Fifer Middle
Javon Peace 5'7 Dover/Central Middle
Eden Davis 5'7 Dover/Central Middle
Quantavus Morse 6'2 Smyrna Middle
They will be in action this weekend March 28th & 29th at the Mid Atlantic Super Showcase in New Castle County.
On another note John Thompson & one of his sons (Ronny I believe) were in attendance during Havoc City Red's games only & it's possible that they were there checking out their 6'8 7th grader since past teams show that they like to keep a quality center in the middle (Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, Dikembe Mutombo, Othella Harrington, Roy Hibbert are just a few that come to mind).
