Who elects them or how do they get chosen? Seems to be a gross misrepresentation for public schools.

Funny most dont even attend meetings DIAA gets about 10 to 11 per meeting and most of them just follow the director..

Neubaur is over stepping his bounds just like he did as Head Official... he needs to be stopped .. Just like rouge judges do who dont interpret the law but try and create law based on their agenda

Dr Fitzgerald does a great job at CR, just saying

Not talking about him.. Neubaur is making his own decisions with no FULL meetings and votes.. Pushing his own agendas and those who call him and cry.. Charles did the same BS

Again 100% caravel's fault!! You run the risk of not finding games as an independent with no rival. Its simple, Either find a rival that you play week 10 each year or join a conference. I really feel for the kids, whoever makes their schedule really screwed up big time.

SD that has got to be the most dumbest and ignorant statement I have read. What conferences do you suggest they join?

Yeah because making a schedule entails choosing your opponents and they play you. Lol. Simple minded folks kill me lol

Hen South is far to scared to let CA join. Even if they could. Bunch of Chickenhawks down there

You are funny RR. What about the diamond state conference? Form a conference, get a rival, think outside the box, sounds to me that you are the simple minded one. Last time I check, caravel has 2 state titles in football, no one is scared of them. they are just not very bright in scheduling. It s shame, Delmar is due to beat them, it been a while.

Don't hold back, say what you are really thinking. Presently it is a public school only conference, so you would have to change that to even have a chance of getting in. Does anyone know if ECHS is planning to have football? I heard that might be coming down the road.

Southdude Yeah ok. Stick your head back in the sand. Form a conference with whom? Caravel has more than two State Championships Just how low brow and ignorant are you?

FYI you just can’t join a conference because you want to. DMA would pitch the biggest fit ever if DSC ever considered letting them join. Lol I get you are down there and everything seems like it should be so simple but the politics up here are different

being a Delmar fan you should know how difficult it is scheduling when teams are afraid to play. Do you think DM sheduled losses to St Mary’s or John Carroll because they want to. Cmon man get a grip

Who is ECHS ?

CA has 4 state titles. And since you seem like a Delmar fan did you happen to catch that 2013 first round game vs CA? It was a classic.

I am still in therapy from that loss. But what what doesn't kill you only makes you better, what a load of bs...

I think Caravel would be a nice fit with the HS. It would make for some transportation stresses as the closest league rival would be Lake Forest.

rr, the old Diamond State and old Henlopen Conferences were based on geography. Middletown was in the Diamond State but got tossed with the merger that formed the current Henlopen Conference. The Henlopen actually tossed Middletown because they were beating the crap out of everybody and (perish the thought) Coach Billings had African American players.

The Blue Hen wasn't much better. They left Howard out for like a decade until they went to big school and small school divisions.

Like the old joke from the 1960's.
Q: How do you make progress in Delaware?
A: One funeral at a time.

It is true the M-town was really pounding everyone in the old Diamond State Conference, but they were not allowed in the Henlopen when the Diamond State merged into it because they were in New Castle County. Henlopen bylaws said only Kent and Sussex teams were allowed. The idea about African- Americans is way off base! The Diamond State teams all had A-A players. I know cause I played in that league back then.

Everyone uses the excuse for what they are doing “is getting kids to college”!! Kids can get to college and for free from anywhere

Isn’t it every high schools goal to get kids to college?

Getting there is one thing performing well is another thing. I never doubted my kids could get to college. I sent them to Caravel because it’s a College Prep school. Both are doing well in college and well prepped But that is not to say public school kids can’t do just as well but I just wasn’t willing to take that chance in the cristiana school district so i bit the bullet.

Better than horrible I think....
That is some first class wit right there. I watched the game. I would hardly consider SC a bad team, so the fact that CA was competitive would indicate they are not horrible.

I will just remain mute from now on. Until someone hits the mute button by mistake then I will close caption everything I say.

I would like Caravel to join Diamond State Conference but to be dead honest that would be a significant stepdown in who they usually play other then DMA.

As for DIAA that is a sad group of largely jackasses. The fact that Terre Taylor is on it shows it is not about competitive sports - she hates sports and would do any thing in her power to make them worse in DE. She was run out of St Marks - terrible she is part of this board.

Caravel should join DSC and if Charter stays they should be worth only 4 points. That will give DSC enough teams for auto bid. Right?

They were arleady looking to move teams to a D3 situation this would be the easiest and next best thing.

If I called out every typo or misspelling you made on here, it would be all I would ever do for the rest of my life.
touche kid touché. I was trying to be funny it’s what I do here. So what are your thoughts on CA joining the DSC?
