Heard Sanford is losing their top 3 FR to Sals …..the rich get richerAnd how the blank is that going to happen? Cape is pretty much self contained and the lacrosse kids have no reason to leave as they compete every year. Sales has the pick of the litter in the four states around us. No public school in NCC can keep a good player as they will end up at Sales. CR used to have great teams but have fallen off as well so now it's Cape downstate and Sales upstate. Maybe Sanford in a few years could break through... maybe.
Amen"Sals is also cheaper and less academically challenging."
That is a total crock.
You might be right, I could never color within the lines when I went thereJust passing on what I was told. Neither has been overly impressed with the rigor of work.
I guess both are transferring elsewhere this year.Just passing on what I was told. Neither has been overly impressed with the rigor of work.
Recruiting happens at many schools, public and nonpublic, in every sport. And your statement about students not going to Sallies for academics is just ridiculous.Kids don't go to Sallies for their academic reputation - lets be honest. Half the lacrosse team lives in Kennet Square. They recruit people to play - which is what prominent private schools do. But don't get offended when people call it what it is
