did anyone go to the DMA scrimmage, wanted to get thoughts on those three teams- DMA-Cape-WPENN

I was there. They did the typical 10 plays each. DMA O vs Cape D first. DMA was able to move the ball mostly positive yards every play minus a botched hand-off. DMA's first string RB did not play but the backups did get some good yards and fought for them. Big play was a 40 yard pass down to the five followed by a 5 yard TD to the TE. Next was Cape O vs WP D. Penn has some big lineman which is common for them. They swarmed cape pretty good and cape was not able to move the ball much and struggled a bit in the passing game. Cape did not score in their 10 plays. Now is where old age must be coming in because I can't remember the sequences but I do remember that Penn has a couple of running backs that are very quick. Not that big but once they got to the corner they were quick to get upfield and get a good chunk of yards. Defense for DMA will be interesting, with Teel, Trumball, and Josh Roy at new schools and Malcolm Roy and Ed Emmens graduating there will be a lot of new faces. DeNigris on D was in the backfield a lot and did make a tackle about 25 yards downfield. John Lednum had a really nice open field tackle on a screen pass to stop a TD and QB Ethan Brantley playing LB did not have any issues sticking his nose into plays and make some tough hits. Obviously it is very early and teams are finding themselves but it was good all 3 teams out there mixing it up and getting the rust knocked off

Thank You very much for that. I figured #77 would be a beast again. I give that kid credit, probably had numerous opportunities to leave for a bigger better program but has stuck it out, I really respect the kid for that. Especially when a lot of the other studs they had left. Props to #77

He is loyal and he does enjoy being at the school, plus he is a two time state champion wrestler and DMA has some of the best wrestling coaches and are also 2x team state champs so I'm sure that is a factor in staying

A little update I found out tonight, apparently cape was playing without their top 2 receivers today so that could have been a little bit of the issue with their offense having some struggles
