Eligibility Question ?

Hypothetical ; A student athlete begins fall practice @ school 1 . He practices up until school begins then transfers to school 2 ( days before 1st games ) . Is he eligible to play ?

yes provided all transfer rules are satisfied and he has not participated in a real game.. if played in a game then 90 days no play

2.4.4.1.4.1 Students shall not participate in a contest at the varsity level for two different schools in the same sport during the same school year unless one of the other exceptions in subsection 2.4.4 of this regulation applies.

That seems about but I do remember a wrestler going from one Henelopen North team to another and wrestling for both within a month. That was about ten years ago though before transfer rules were changed.

True yum that and if you read the rule I posted above it’s not a absolute there are exceptions and waivers that can be had to play for two teams in one year
