Keep trying to tell people Davis is the real deal.. În do time... They will see ... Keep saying he too young to tell... Please coming sense... 8Th grade playing varsity playing against elite players in the country last year... Still 4 years to go.. Already know how to play above the rim on the fast break.... And can shoot....
Nobody disputes Davis's talent, all people are saying is let's take things slowly, Davis struggled all year against national competition which is more of a reflection of youth. Other talented kids have also had their challenges including Cramer, Ingraham & hyland. Hype is the enemy of progress, let's keep these kids humble and hungry working hard every day to get better. Personally I see delaware getting better as a whole we had 2 top kids in that game hopefully they stick around.
Not hyping Davis... He just stands out on the court at his age ... Played in the same game against Graham last night .... Davis put on a shoW..... Wasn't even close....
I see polytech playing in fall league.. Teams like Woodbridge, Cape,, and many other down state teams need to join in too.. Just to get a feel for the upstate teams... Its the coaches fault. Not no where dedicated like they should be...
Loved to see Cape vs st.George's.. Woodbridge vs Sanford... Downstate Coaches need to get it together.. Fall league could help a lot of downstate teams.. Instead they be in the gym playing pick up games into football season over... Sad but true.. And wonder why we can't get a title back down state...
Sorry I missed Saturday's games. I'll get some more this week. Who won St E Smyrna? I didn't know they were playing or I would have been there. Darn.
