I’d love to see a rematch if I’m hodgson . Few turnovers and mental mistakes killed them. Good game in football weather !
So would I. Whitehead went out in the 1st qt. A few calls against the Cavs and could have been 2-3 more scores.
HOWEVER.....Hodgson came to play, they will be a threat going forward. My Hats off to them, made me a believer! I think they will travel to Smyrna in the Semis and give them a game. Whoever they get in the 1st round, Hodgson should run away with it. I'd like to see that Hodgson/Smyrna matchup

Very true @raven, and they still have quite a few state championships still ... imagine if they eliminated those mistakes . I just expected a blow out the way everyone was talking . I thought a hvt had its chances , but you can’t play sloppy against a team like mtown. Hvt / Smyrna could be a good one if they can tackle better than they did tonight . Knight can run
They won 3 2 back to back with Buck who overcame the mistakes with how good he was Funny thing is in both the back to back years they lost to Caravel in the regular season Not saying they weren't deserving because they were In fact I think HVT was better than the D1 champ William Penn in 2014
Nah, I'll concur with RR. Watching that title game, and seeing Penn twice that year, I think Hodgson would have beaten Penn.

If my memory serves me right they lost to Howard, StG and Caravel that year
your right but they turned it on down the stretch and steam rolled everyone and would likely steam rolled penn but thats just an opinion
Sorry. PITT, I'm referring the the year they went undefeated. 2013? 2014? I don't remember. That year I think they could have beaten anyone in the state
I don’t have a clue I just remember watching them that year (my nephew played so I was at all the games)and they were gd . There defense was definitely real too!
They were never undefeated.. In 2013 they lost to Caravel and CR but the did blow through D2 playoffs 38-14 48-0 and 38-0
Buck was pretty good Oneil was big and all but he wast really a receiver You never know football is a game of match ups HVT had allot off skilled players
O’Neil was a problem at TE, he’s a offensive lineman now and will probably be all America this year
