Friday Night Scores

CA - 7
StM - 0

End 3

CA had missed two FGs and had a TD call back for a penalty nobody saw

St. Marks may have a hard time getting in playoffs. 2 losses and have St. George's and Sals. Hodgson and St. E's won't be easy either.

I am basing this off radio broadcast but it sounds like a very ugly offensive game for St Marks. They believe that the Spartans may not have got to a 100 total yards offensively.
CA 3 missed FG's and a TD called back.
Don Voltz takes a cheapshot-referring to a kid who transferred out of SM saying how maybe they wish he was still there.

Not that it's a surprise, but Woodbridge beat Seaford 54-0. Starters taken out early in 2nd qtr. Wonder how the Raiders will look next week at IR after 3 weeks against such poor competition.

I think Caravel can get in if they win out,, They have to beat Cape to get those D1 points but its doable as they have bonus points on the horizon as well,, 4 D1's on the schedule and possible bonus pts from Sals, St M, Concord, Cape and a certain 2 BP's from Elkton

Congrats Bucs they needed that to have any shot at the tourney

Probably still a stretch but this was a must win
not that much of a stretch will have to beat Cape.. Silver Oak and Capitol are no contest,, HVT might present a problem if CA can get past Cape but I believe CA would prevail in that one .. It comes down to the Cape game at Cape and its Capes Homecoming..Tall order for sure but doable

That kid transferred to CA before last season, and he is a beast. No doubt they wish they still had him.

St Marks had 81 yds offense vs Caravel per TNJ/DOL.

Caravel needs some of the walking wounded back. Five or six out from a squad of ~35 is tough sledding.

The St. Mark's win gets Caravel to 15 points & winning out would get them up to 33 (15+4+6+4+4).

Bonus point possibilities - 1 bp given for each 7 or 8 win opponent / 2 bps given for each 9 or 10 win opponent:

CONCORD is at 5-0 & would get to 7 wins if they beat Wilmington Charter & Delcastle. To get to 9 wins, they would also have to win 2 of their other 3 games (Salesianum tonight, William Penn and Middletown).

ELKTON is at 6-1 and will be a favorite in their remaining three games, so they stand a good chance of getting to 9-1.

DELMAR & ARCHMERE
Delmar would have to win 4 of their last 5 to get to 7 wins & their remaining schedule includes games at Milford and Woodbridge. Also, Delmar's most likely path to 7 wins would block Archmere from getting to 7; the Auks have already lost 3 and they play Delmar today. Archmere would have to win out to get to 7 wins, which would have to include beating DMA and St. Elizabeth. The best Caravel scenario would be Archmere winning out, with Delmar winning their other 4 games (Delmar and Archmere would then both be 7-3 and Caravel would get a bonus point from each of them).

SALESIANUM would have to win 4 of their last 5 to get to 7 wins & their remaining schedule includes Concord (today), William Penn & the St. Mark's rivalry game at the end of the regular season.

ST. MARK'S would have to win 3 of their last 4 to get to 7 wins & their remaining schedule is St. Georges, Hodgson, St. Elizabeth and Salesianum.

SILVER OAK (MD) & CAPITOL CHRISTIAN (MD)
based on their current records, neither can get to 7 wins at this point.

CAPE HENLOPEN is at 5-1 & would get to 7 wins if they win 2 of these 3 (CR, Sussex Tech and Smyrna). The first assumption (Caravel winning out), would block Cape from getting to 9 wins.

HODGSON
If Caravel wins out, then Hodgson would have to win their other 4 games to get to 7 wins. Their 4 remaining opponents include St. Georges (today) and St. Mark's.

Sounds like a possible + 4 on the low side and a possible + 8 on the high side …

Middletown's Trey Austin had 5 interceptions last night vs. A.I. Has to be a record performance I would think. Never seen so many turnovers in a single game. Double digits.
