So apparently Gatorade picks a player of the year from every state and they picked Peace don't know what you all think but at least someone gave him a chance

Gatorade POY is a bit different.. First someone has to nominate the player like a coach or AD and they use 3 criteria to make the selection from the nominated players.. None the less its a great award/achievement for Peace and I have no problem with the choice
The Gatorade State Player of the Year award winners are evaluated and selected on the basis of three criteria:
Athletic Excellence - Standout performance in their respective sport made at the high school, club, national or international levels of competition.
Academic Achievement - Review of GPA and class rank, as well as SAT and ACT scores, and academic honors distinctions.
Exemplary Character - Commitment to sportsmanship, character and community through membership and participation in positive activities.

They obviously had to pick one football player from DE. Shame on any HC not nominating their top player that fits the criteria. So peace should’ve gone against every school in DE. Again kind ties into why was he not OPOY? Good ol’ coaches never change...if you stroke me, I’ll stroke yours. Most of the coaches in DE are in it for themselves and not the kids...shame on each of them.
