Cape Henlopen are the favorites but close games lately. Vulnerable?

William Penn's "Wall" of defense will have them in any game.

Smyrna could repeat, Garnett will need to be MVP Garnett.

Salesianum will be a tough out.

Sanford, aside from their forfeit vs St. E, has won 16 straight.

Sussex Tech could press and run their way to a title

Caravel looks to be primed to make another run

Glasgow is better than most give them credit for.

Mount Pleasant gets to show their worth in the Blue Hen Championship.

Dover has proven they can compete, but can they figure how to close?

CR has a Star and 2 veteran guards, a recipe for tournament success.

Newark, they say defense wins championships, these guys can defend.

St. George's, a Star led team has won in the in the past, can it happen again?

St. Mark's, wouldn't be wise to overlook these guys.

Lake Forest, consistency has been an issue, but they have the talent to shock a favorite.

Woodbridge solid record but needs a quality win. No time like tournament to do so.

This year will be the true definition of March madness! I have a feeling one of the big dogs will drop in the second round...idk who but I have a feeling...All teams better come ready to play because the chip isn’t a lock for anyone! It’s been an interesting year to say the least!

Why was there a forfeit for Sanford StE game?

Dover 33 Newark 27 at the half. First time seeing Newark this year. Worst Newark squad I’ve seen in a long time.

That's a bad L for Dover. They are better than that. They will be a load next year.
Newark may be better than some people believe...they only loss to CR last week by 2 & it took Cape a buzzer beater to beat CR just Monday night. Newark has a few good wins against Red Lion, Glasgow & Howard then a tough 1-pt loss to Mt. Pleasant. They got a couple head-scratching losses too though to Seaford & Middletown so tough to tell how good they are without seeing them.

The conclusion that a Henlopen team has the title locked up has taken a couple hits with Smyrna and Dover going down. Still see Cape as favorite but the tide is turning late.

I’m not sure how familiar you are with the Henlopen North but Dover was never in the title contender discussuion considering they loss 2 games each to Cape, Smyrna, Tech & CR. I wouldn’t say locked up but not too much of a hit by a loss by Dover...they were never in the title discussion. I wouldn’t say it took a big hit w/ Smyrna losing in double OT on the road at William Penn neither...Penn is a legit title contender themselves when they have all of their players. I’d say Sanford & William Penn are right there w/ the Henlopen North teams like Cape, Smyrna, Tech & CR...Dover is not on those teams level.

Not to mention until those brackets come out it’s hard to predict much.

I wouldn't put Newark in a title discussion either. But they and Cape have both beaten Dover by 4 in the past week.

Newark ain’t a bad team at all. Not a lot of varsity experience tho. If Hancock gets things going like he’s able to they can play with most teams. He will be in the discussion to be on a Allstate team the next 2 years

Don’t let that fool you...Newark is not on Cape, Smyrna & Tech’s level. Especially not w/ losses to teams like Delcastle, Seaford, Appo & Middletown on their resume this year. Dover is not a bad team
but 0 signature wins this year...wouldn’t be surprised if they won a 1st Round game though.

Like they say in boxing, Dover has a shooters chance. If the guards shoot well (and they showed me they can) and take care of the ball they could surprise a couple teams.
