Hey Coach is this you

Every one gets that you know the recruiting process... but why do you tear down the high school football coach that may only get paid 3,000 as a head coach, 1,000 as an assistant, and a vast majority of them are doing volunteer work? If you have a real issue with any of this... email/text/call/telegram/usps the coach and say hey I'm (insert name) and I have (such and such) college interested in this kid can you please send film to (college coach). Because believe it or not high schools in Delaware are talking to colleges for their kids. But I got a feeling your not worried about talking to high school coaches and being a direct asset to them. No you'd rather get on this or Twitter and talk about how bad coaches are for not allowing an opponent to view extra film on their team or how you travel all over hell and creation to watch certain kids. At the end of the day kids get more looks on a winning team. That's what majority of these coaches try to do is win. But not to mention... be a father figure to kids that may not have one, tutor kids that need help, co-sign loans for kids to go to college, take them to college visits, and numerous other important things that you dont seem to want to mention. You posting negative stuff on this and Twitter isnt directly helping anyone but making your self feel superior. I'm sure you've helped a ton of kids and that's great. If the coach wants to lock out the public let them. Just tell the coach to contact 'xyz'. And dont take this as me ripping you because like I said... I'm sure you've helped a ton of kids and everything, but damn you have a hell of a way with certain stuff you post.

PPS dont know sheet.. Just a big mouth,, A HS coaches job is to coach the kids how to play the game and how the game and disciplines of the game helps them in real life,, Their job is to play a part in making them better men when they leave. Not every kid who plays HS football is seeking a football scholarship In fact most of them aren't Sure if the colleges come calling they are liaisons for their kids but it is not their responsibility to get kids scholarships.. Thats the kids and their parents job if that is what they want.

Please explain logically how blocking Hudl film is helping a kid in the recruiting process? The rest of what you posted means nothing. I realize the majority of coaches in all states make next to nothing.

I also realize that most coach for themselves to be close to the game because they miss it. Or they want to coach at the college level. I’m a verified recruiter on Hudl so I can see the film regardless however that’s not the point.

By making the film private your not even allowing the kid to send his film out or share it with coaches on his own. Your also not letting them take advantage of the platform. Every year a kid will get on the radar because they make a spectacular play and it goes viral on Hudl. There was a Kid that committed to Oregon after his Hudl film went viral mid senior season. He had zero offers before that and was from a small under recruited part of the country.

Another point for you if your making it private why would the average kid even get on to watch scouting film. You took all the fun out of the platform for them and they will probably never log on to watch film. Also no ones offense is so innovative that they can’t figure out what your doing.

Final point is this. All they really have to do is get the verified recruiting access and they can see it anyway. Or use someone they know to see your top secret offense. Bottom line is it does nothing but hurt the athletes.

Says the racist professional message board poster.

Prep you are an idiot. coaches make hudl private so other teams cant see what they are doing week to week. all you care about is that a players gives you money for your services, that's it. coaches have much more responsibly, its call the TEAM!!! football is the ultimate team sport, teaches young boys how to become men, how tocount on the person next to you and not put yoursellf before the team. The teams interest always outweighs the individual. If a players is that good, college will know who they are. And stop calling people racist, you just sound stupid.

No one said that the players are not putting the team first, most are, its people like you that have no interest in the team, you are just trying to line your pockets on these kids hopes and dreams. Everyone knows that to get noticed you must go to the schools camps in the offseason, colleges want to see there investment first hand. Preps, your a money grubbing fool if you don't understand why coaches put accounts private. I feel sorry for you.....

I'm not going to call you dumb, money hungry, or anything of the sorts. At the end of the day you're going to have your opinion and I doubt anyone you talk to on this message board is going to change your mind. Also, for you to say anything that I posted doesn't matter just goes to show where your head is at when it comes to the whole athlete and how they develop more than football.
If you take money or not it doesn't matter to me. When you skip over the fact of what I was actually talking about it proves that you're one dimensionally minded.
Just because it is locked out from the public doesn't mean they can't make highlights. Also, apparently since people have verified recruiting access why don't you just send them there through their access? I guess my main question is why do you tear down the high school football coach on all your posts?
I agree with one thing... Student's can't post on their social media. I get that is where the world is going now, but at the same time most teams that lock it in season, don't keep it locked year round and open it up after the season. My point of my previous post was not to get into a match of ideals, but rather just to express that your opinion/comments of coaches are not always founded.
At the end of the day I don't care if it is locked or not. I just don't like what you say and how you say it, nor how you portrait high school coaches as inferior to your ultimate knowledge self. That is my opinion.

When I was coaching I didn’t like hudl accounts that were not private. I don’t need other teams scouting using hudl. Do the legwork and get your own film or trade films. Hudl was in its infancy at that point but wasn’t there a feature that you could allow others to see your film if they requested it? Recruiting is a bunch of bs anyway . I know multiple kids that went DI without showing hardly any HS film. They kicked ass at college combines and got offers that way.
