IMG is playing ECA on Halloween at Del State... just curious as to how much interest in this game? early reports would suggest ECA will get drilled by IMG

yeah heard it was ugly as well.. DeMatha is a legit top 10 team this year though... I know IMG has a crap load of star rated transfers but not sure if IMG is going to meld as a team or not..
I also heard there are a few unhappy guys there. They were promised the world and then all of a sudden they realize there are only 11 spots on offense and defense and 1 ball. A few kids got a handful of snaps/touches and it isn't sitting well. But this is just hearsay..
bonemup thats to be expected.. kind of goes with the territory... IMG has guys bailing as well when they realize they wont play much.. its going to be hard for programs like that to keep any quality depth ..
IMO they take a few quality players out of Delaware which probably would make a difference on their public or private school team, with hopes to get that coveted prize of a D 1 scholarship. But after they jump ship to play there and see limited or no time. Know of a few that probably wished they stayed on their public school team.
I don't think at this point ECA is really hurting DE teams much.as they really aren't getting the star kids (there were rumors of some top end kids from Glasgow and WP last year but they stayed put).... They did pull some Baltimore kids but they arent game changers IMO. They are mostly just athletic kids chasing the dream.. teams top players are staying put for the most part... Unlike IMG who is pulling in 3, 4 and 5 star rated players with multiple offers
Interestingly enough... It seems Sills has dropped off the depth chart at WVU and will be redshirted,,, Folks are even talking about him being a multi-position player,, Here is what WVU HC has to say to the question

it seems both (red shirt Freshman) William Crest and Freshman Chugunov both beat him out for 2nd and 3rd string.. .. Its interesting in the fact WVU had Sills 2nd on the depth chart during the spring game and was talking about moving Crest to receiver... Things have changed..

Umm that doesn't work in College .. FYI... LOL... In all fairness young David earned his hype as a young 7th and 8th grader, he was very talented for the age..,, he has 5 years to turn it around....

Now compare that to Wade,,, Wade has two state championships and went to three.. He is starting QB for BC this year. as a soph.. He didnt need to be on a National team or any of that he was just that good...
Rooster no doubt he is very talent player, I just was being a smart a**, there are 119 D-1A & 119 D1AA teams, probably 1000-1100 QB's playing at that level, I'm thinking if he is not in the top 119 QB in the country maybe he should look at dropping at D 1AA or D2
I wouldn't be surprised if that happens... Being both his older sisters go to UD it would make sense if he transfers there.. The worst that happens for him is he gets a degree and is next in line to take over the family business,,, I think he will be ok lol
I am just a believer in talent, grades and focus/hardwork getting you to next level. Wade, Godwin, Roberts, Henderson, Ross brothers are just a few from Flight A only who have/will go D1. Many others have gone 1AA (charter wr but cant remember his name). These guys stayed at their public school, did well in school and impressed scouts wit game film and at prospect days. Not to downplay the Charter program but if 3 guys can get recognized from there I have faith college scouts will find you. Just my opinion
@bone_em_up not to mention all of the guys who you have mentioned as public school players in DE have a few things in common. They worked hard in the offseason training with Bo Hunter or Damon Daniels doing skill work.
I have been hearing horror stories about Sills' business practices for years. I have never talked to Sills and heard his side of the story but there are lots of local contractors and sub contractors who say they did work for him and were never properly paid. If true and you connect the dots a great deal of the money people assume Sills spent in creating the RLC/ECA mess was other people's money.
There could be something breaking in the next few months that will shed light on the self-described "Christian" businessman that will shock a lot of people.

What's not factual, he was held back, and not on 2015 QB Depth Chart, that doesn't affect any credibility.
One he didnt lose out to a 6 FT junior college kid and Two he was not held back in middle school or high school,, His MOM held him back from kindergarten as many families due to them feeling they are not ready yet,, It had zero to do with football as he didn't even play the sport when he was held back from starting school..Once he started school he was never held back
