Say what you want about the Cavaliers, but their competing their hearts out! I can’t see how anybody in DE can beat them. Bar NONE.
Is Najair Smith ok? Took some big shots in 1st half. Haven’t seen him in 2nd.
IMG has a lot of games like that

MT did ok. Game really didn’t matter . Sucks no fans were there. A trip to FLA is always good .
I don't know where your information came from. But we had well over a 100 Middletown people there. Look at the Middletown transcript on Thursday. Over half of them are in a group picture.

Yeah IMG are all largely out of state kids thier fan support always sucks. MT always travels well even to FL!
Atleast they manned up and took on a challenge. Look at all the weak willed teams in Delaware that drop teams like Middletown, Sallie's, Smyrna because they are afraid of a lose or getting embarrassed. These boys new what outcome was going to be. They went there to compete regardless of the imminent outcome. That's what a well taught young MAN does. It taught them not to be a coward. Man up and compete now and in everything you every do. Hats off to the coaching staff and everyone of those young men!
Yeah, but you think they really competed with them? Seriously. Just because you show up to a game and play doesn’t mean you competed. Losing by 1 or 2tds, maybe even 3 (if the game got away at the end) would be considered “competing.” Not loosing by 7tds.

You really don't get the point. Some things are not about the outcome. It's about growing as a person. It's about not being afraid. It's about doing your best no matter what the outcome. Not one parent was disappointed in what they seen today. I've never been so proud of my son as man than today. Those 100+ fans all feel the same. Every young man needs to be challenged to a high degree multiple times to build character. The scoreboard or winning a game doesn't do that. Loses and being faced with difficult situations teaches these kids more than anything.
Take a look at the 6a Pine Richland team from Pennsylvania. They got smoked 42-0. I'm sure they received another level of respect from everyone. They've crushed everyone they've played since then. Don't be a coward. Don't back down. Be a thumb guy. Not a me guy or a finger pointing little weazel.
Some of you guys sound like the same parents in youth football that believe that every kid should get a trophy no matter what.
And @Bucsnot I’ve been a member since like 2014 I believe. I didn’t just join last year so why don’t you stop acting like a little fn kid. I’m not one of these clowns on here that talk about their kid or their kid’s team. I just talk football because I know it and live it. Obviously you wouldn’t know anything about that.
Maybe you know Delaware football but you certainly don't understand the following:
- character building
- losing is a great opportunity
- facing Goliath without fear
- competing to grow not always to win
- etc
Oh really. Let's see. I played 4 years of offensive and defensive line at division 1 college football. I coached 14 years at the youth level. Had several opportunities to coach at the higher levels but couldn't juggle it with my work schedule. What are your credentials?
Yup, that’s why there’s a preseason, and they got all those lessons when they scrimmaged St. Frances (MD). The regular season is about winning every game including the state championship.
