Late last summer I posted that bizarre Delaware State News article on Caesar Rodney QB Jared Wagenhoffer. It actually was a flattering article but the sportswriter kind of made the kid's personal goals look like braggadocio.

I got to see the young man play lacrosse against Salesianum a couple weeks back. Now, I don't know anything about lacrosse but Wagenhoffer looked to me to have very good athletic skills. I hope that CR uplifts their competitive level next year because I think the young man has some athletic skills.

I am hoping CR's downslide last year was just true rebuilding. They have a great FB tradition.

I didn't follow CR that closely last year but do recall the article with his projections. How far was he from leading the state statistically in every passing category? Pretty close?

Pickle. Maybe "pretty close" close to the bottom. That was last year. I think The kid will shine this year.
In the article he stated his goals that were certainly lofty.

I think he would have been ideal for Smyrna this year.

Good luck to the young man...

Not the kids fault, blame the antiquated system. The Wing T offense is as old as Tubby, sore topic for CR fans imo

He should have transferred to smyrna and competed with the Glasgow kid. And then competed with whoever is playing linebacker for that spot

Rooster; I wouldn't be too quick to write off Good Counsel. They had a down year at 6-5 but still had a power rating good enough to be #8 in MD.

Average WCAC team which still means better than most MD or DE teams. not chasing National.. very local schedule this year plus they are losing some players to St Frances and Bullis

i assume the only game you saw last year was the smyrna game ie... through the first 8 games CR had 0 passing TD's

Never said they were proficient in passing just said they don't run your traditional Tubby Raymond Wing T. Unlike Concord, St. Georges, Laurel and a few others they do more. I have my ways of seeing games but with new technology Hudl is a useful tool.
