lol... WB is more like the HVT team a couple years back that could compete with D1 teams... Not saying they could play with MT or Smyrna but lets face it DE D1 and D2 is down this year sans a handful of teams...

All these predictions of complete blowouts is baffling to me....I am a parent and definitely biased, that's a given! However, if you think the the boys from Middletown aren't getting off the bus next Saturday you are mistaken. Smyrna is legit, watched them last night...players everywhere. MT is pretty good and you won't see them lay down like WP did last night. I hope it's a great game!

Woodbridge 28 Friends 14--The September match up showed a significant difference in ability. A team can develop over the period of a season but the gap is too wide to overcome.

To be fair, St. Georges manhandled Howard during the regular season last year and the Wildcats just out-everythinged them in the title game. I'm quite sure Coach Tattersall and his staff will have Friends better prepared this time around. I still think Woodbridge wins, but it won't be a romp like every one is thinking.
I've seen Middletown three times this year and while they weren't exactly facing juggernauts (Appo, Concord and Sallies), I still think their defense can make things tough for Smyrna and their offense can more than keep them in it.

Yeah I don't think it's going to be a blowout at all. Should be a great game. I'm still crossing my fingers and praying to supreme leader Trump that Judy puts LB4 on defense so he can shut daddy's baby down....but I thought he'd pull out that trick last year and put some studs on defense for the big game and didn't.
If he doesn't switch things up I'm predicting Middletowns QB and receivers make our corners look like silly willys..... with smyrna still winning in a high scoring game.

I wonder if the D-I game will draw more than the 10,000+ who showed up last year. Weather looks like partly sunny, temps in the high 40s-low 50s for early game. That's not too bad considering some years it's been in the 20s.
William Penn Did Not ;ay down. They got beat by a better team. To think Wp layed down then have no clue who they are what they are about. There kids give everything they had. Just could not match the speed and players going bogth ways got wore down. This team beat everyone but 2 Finalist Teams. Have class the kid had a good season just not better then top 2. Look at there roster these coaches did a great job.. 10-2 Season Congrats Boys..No feeder system they make there players from 9th grade..

Totally agree. Remember in August/Sept NOBODY was talking about Penn at all. They quietly went 9-1, smacked people around physically. Dooley did a great job with them. They should have no shame in anything they did. Getting to the semi-finals is a heck of an accomplishment. The WP community should be proud of them and their coaching staff. They didn't lay down at all. Late in the game continued to blitz, tried to throw what looked from the stands like HB Toss Pass or a reverse pass (that they didn't get off) a few times to get back in the game...they kept fighting. Nothing wrong with that!
They'll be good again next year, top tier of Flight A for sure.

Never really had to be concerned over championship game rules, but believe that noisemakers are allowed at outdoor games as long as they don't simulate game sounds (like a whistle). I wouldn't want to be the person in charge of confiscating those cow bells - bet somebody'd get a beat down.

You're obviously all mouth and no brains! Mtown has given up 86 points in 11 games. These were mostly token points at the end of blow outs. It's going be a tight game in the 30's at most.
