Drawing borders in state, in country and nationally is dangerous.. The human species is in danger on Earth due to these type divisions.. just saying

the Earth has been here billions of years and many species have come and gone naturally.. We have been here just few hundred years and have the arrogance to think we run the planet LOL On top of that we are doing everything we can to wipe out each other..

Here we go with the southern thing again.

We live in a state that you can go from one end to another in 2 hours . I live in NCC county but have a trailer at the beach. I like southern Delaware and over the years many good sports teams have come from the "south".

You guys talk about Sussex county or the Henlopen conf like it's 8 hours from me and in a different time zone . It takes me 90 minutes door to door from my house to the beach. The people from Sussex have created this we're looked down upon mindset all on their own .

I could care less who really wins on Saturday. Just hope it's competitive football and nobody gets injured . Not concerned with whether the title is upstate or downstate . Delaware is too small for that and frankly it doesn't mean shit to most of us.

Uncle B you are going 1 for 2 but that is par for the course,, didnt you in another post just say you thought Hen would win both,, I am confused

Honestly. I forget. I think I picked Smyrna to run the table and put a running clock on every opponent back in week #4. That didn't pan out. In all candor I have no rooting interest.

Best of luck to all participants.

I always have concerns when teams play against each other in the regular season and meet again in the playoffs or championship. I had both Hodgson / Delmar games in 2009. Hodgson basically throttled them in the regular season and even had a running clock at one point. Delmar returned weeks later and pulled the monumental upset. I've also seen the opposite when the second game is worst than the first. I believe Woodbridge is poised to win their first state title and won't come out flat. I haven't seen Middletown this year but I'll give the nod to Smyrna, as I too believe they can score on anyone. There is indeed a high probability of the rare Henlopen double.
