We are eager to start training and preparing each of you for a new season full of awesome experiences and new levels of success.
There are a few minor changes this season, all with the intent to reach every wrestler efficiently. For starters, our Blue team will be divided into two teams- Novice and Intermediate. Novice is Team Grey and Intermediate is Team Blue. We have adjusted the age and experience requirement to better suit the divisions and we will run some practices out of Appo High this season (2nd location). Any wrestler 13 or older regardless of experience will be on MWC Black.

Tuesday Nov. 3 at 6:30pm we will host a parent’s night at MHS. We will share our coaching strategies, expectations and educate you on the Parent / Player relationships we expect. Parents will meet with their coach and have the opportunity to ask questions.
Early bird registration: if you register before October 30, you will save $$. On October 31, full enrollment fee will be applied. It is very important that we get as many early registrations as possible to help us build solid practice plans according to enrollment. NEW- we will offer Sibling discounts this year.
Volunteer coaches: every year we have a hand full of dad’s that help out during practices and events. This is a very important role to the coaches and athletes alike. Please consider volunteering this season to help our year run smooth. Please select the Volunteer roll during registration if you are interested. ALL COACHES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A VAILD USA CARD!
USA Wrestling: we will continue to be a USA Sanctioned club, be sure to renew your membership card. This organization partially funded over 30 Delaware wrestler this summer travel to Indianapolis, North Dakota and PA to compete against our nation’s top wrestlers. Nationally, USA funds our Cadet, Junior, Senior and Veteran level wrestlers to train and compete in International events throughout the year. We will continue to support the organization that supports us!
