NCC 7v7

Dennis Berger wasn't big either, but he would have been a 1 on any team in the state when he played.....he just has the disadvantage of playing behind Chris Godwin

Raiquon Estep is 5'9 155 and rushed for 2533 yds and 34 TD's for Elkton last year. Led them to the state final and was Small School 1st Team All State... Great get for Glasgow.. game changer.. puts Glasgow back in the conversation in D2... At least one wheel was put back on the Dragon Wagon Sparty

Nicky Johnston is their best WR right now ... #16 . IMO

Best WR no that goes to Edelin. Routing running, hands and size. Johnston is definitely productive but Edelin is the best on that team. Gutherie will be the second best, he has a little more athleticism, about the same cockiness but less grit than DelPercio. I can see Johnston having a field day though because of those 2 on the outside. Fry will smash what ever record Goodwin or whoever is at the top in passing at the school. Those 3 alone will cause the state fits as long as new OC doesn't mess it up.

Edelin, Guthrie, Johnston......can we get a confirmation on Taylor? That would be a great group of receivers to spread out the defense and with whitehead rushing. I like what I hear so far.

I don't think even Taylor knows yet. Probably checking out SFA first. No confirmation to get..It is confirmed he won't be at CA and it is confirmed he moved to Townsend... Thats where were at

@VoiceofReason247 ... Edelien , "best hands " ? Have to disagree.
Best hands, hands down, goes to Nicky Johnston. Catches everything. I love Kenny but he's been known to drop balls occasionally right in his hands. He should have a monster year. RR, Nicky might have gotten a little taller but he's definitely put together.

Bucs who has better hands on the team?

CHS89 - Johnston is very productive in the slot but I can't give receiver best hands when 60-80% of his catches are basket catches with the chest and arms. My toddler catches everything that way but is 50-50 hands only. IJS

Now you're qualifying why a kid has better hands. They are both great receivers. I tend to think catching balls in the middle of the field knowing you're going to get hit most times is tougher. Can't wait to see Air Fry vs. Smyrna first game. With the addition of the kid from A I and possibly Taylor look out.

Well yes how can someone say they have good or great hands when they don't catch with their hands?

Well this thread has certainly taken an odd turn..

Interesting especially since Smyrna won the Ravens 7on7 tournament in Md going undefeated and beating Gonzaga in the final... Might have been MT's first 7on7 but not Smyrna's.. Nerves perhaps?
Don't take too much away from the Smyrna-Middletown 7 v 7 game. Smyrna had 4 or 5 kids missing from the team that won the Ravens tournament

No offense, but if that QB plays/throws like he did those 4-5 or how ever many kids who missed the 7on7, won't mean anything. The kid couldnt hit an elephant if it sat in front of him. I hope he plays better or Smyrna will open with a loss.
