Went to Howard last yearIs this other Turner the kid that played for Moyer Academy two years ago? If so, I saw him put up 32 against Newark that year. I think he was an 8th grader. Where has he been since then?
I know it doesn't matter to coaches nor kwadree but it would not be fair at all to anybody on that bench that kept their grades straight all year to lose a spot to a kid that couldn't even tryout because of his gradesKwadree was academically ineligible when the season started so I don't believe he can play
If your grades are up when report cards come out midseason making you eligible academically then I was under the impression that your are able to play.
This has been the rule for at least 25 years and I believe forever. Nobody loses their spot Newark only has at the most 12 kids on varsity, I've seen teams with at least 15. Further more if a kid gets their grades right they deserve to play! Now minutes are earned in competitive sports, if a kid plays over another that's been sitting on the bench all year maybe that player needs to work harder on his game. This is pretty much common sense, if someone don't like that maybe go help the kid on the bench get better. Just my thoughtsI know it doesn't matter to coaches nor kwadree but it would not be fair at all to anybody on that bench that kept their grades straight all year to lose a spot to a kid that couldn't even tryout because of his grades
