Thoughts?

Agreed, I think that’s about right, I think Sanford would be 3 but that loss to St.Es hurt. I like the 1st ranking(DESportsZone) but with Sanford and Tech flip flopped (Cape, Smyrna, Tech, Sanford) I honestly think these are the best 4 teams with Sallies, and WP knocking on the door...

Can’t wait to see the final seedings... Playoffs should be competitive with some pretty good teams seeded 10-18...should be some good 2nd round games...

Therein lies the difference - DE Sports Zone has a team. Brad is on his own, especially since they cut the budget for freelancers (ask me how I know).

Doing something bad usually is the same as doing nothing at all. If you’re under staffed or you lack the budget and time to do something 100, you should concentrate on things you can do instead of tagging a WAG at something you can’t do or know very little about. Imo

I've worked in the profession on and off for close to 16 years now and I'll say this much - nobody is better at expecting you to make chicken salad out of chicken sh** than newspaper higher-ups. They don't give you the resources but still expect you to making miracles daily. This is what Brad is facing because Gannett (the News Journal's parent company) is abhorrent.

The sports section is one of the most read sections of newspapers behind actual news. So if you want to do newspapers, I would say concentrate on news, sports and editorials....do one of those three bad and you lose readers, I know it sounds easy but keep it simple if you want to compete with digital media....if they don’t get “young” they die period.

If he wanted to watch games he could watch games. Shoot, with the amount of games patomic and 302 sports records I wouldn't blame him if he watches them. I may feel bad for him if he didn't rub people the wrong way.

Sanford below St. E is absurd.
Not sure how absurd it is after St.E’s just beat Sanford by 25 last week 67-42. I understand Sanford may have been undermanned but Davis & both the Perkins’ boys played so no excuse for that type of 25-point loss in my opinion & I can live with St. E’s ahead of Sanford. I still like Sanford to be right there in the end but I have no issue w/ them being below St E’s. Sanford loss to Cape the first game of the season & I remember hearing it was their first game & that Cape shot 40+ more free throws, now this loss & they weren’t at full strength...no excuses. With that being said I still like Stan to have them there at the Bob in the Final 4 for now.
