American Pickers (anytime any day)
Diners, Drive Ins and Dives
Law and Order reruns
The Wire on demand
Seinfeld reruns
Beachfront Bargain Hunt when its on

On demand movies in my file don’t wish to share lol. Just kidding nothing too riske’. But fairly emasculating. Comedy and Musicals Grease, Pitch Perfect, Elvis movies, Caddyshack, Star Wars series but pretty much just watch the first 3 releases, American Pie series, Blazing Saddles and Scarface. Occasionally Sound of Music , White Christmas and The Wolf of Wall Street. Lol.

Tomorrow is Olivia Newton John's 70th birthday. I know that if she had got to know me 50 years ago she would have liked me. We just never were in the same place at the same time.

Ches I have no doubt your wit, charm and All-American good looks would have won her over. Her misfortune. Don’t forget the crocs sandals. Being from Australia if the rest didn’t do it certainly the shoes would have. JMHO

Rooster; "The Wire" was one of the greatest series ever to run on tv. The Omar Little character was so memorable that they should have had a series solely about him. Seriously though, it showed the utter futility of the war on drugs. "Hamsterdam" was a great idea.

Dovetail I agree and Omar is one of my favorite characters as well as the Bunk. Got to love a Westside Edmonson kid who played Lax. Lol. The acting and writing on that show is superb.

Another fact just about every actor played a role on Law and Order at some point. Bunk played a lawyer lol. Omar played the same role essentially but without the Robin Hood back story. Lol. Bubs was even on LaO as well as pretty much every actress or actor on the show. Well other than Snoop she was straight up hired from the streets of Btowne.

It’s funny I was a huge Wire fan but recently got into Law and Order by recently I mean the last couple years. Anyhow watching the LAO reruns I often see the Wire actors in different roles. Hey that’s. Mayor Royce, that’s Omar, that’s the Bunk., that’s Herk, that’s Barksdales sister, that’s D, that’s a random heroin addict. Lol.

After playing strong side defensive end for the Titans he ended up in prison and ultimately assinated.

If you come at the King you best not miss. Omar.

I personally would have added to the line “If you come at the King you best not miss the Queen”

Omar being what he is. Just saying

“ if it helps you remember I am the guy who pre-ejaculeted twice on the internet “

“ ohhh Jim Levinstine. I remember you”

Lol

“ the bad boys of acapella have gotten badder”. “ You got that right John I may have to excuse myself to freshen up downstairs”. “ can I help?” Lol

If you like “The Wire”, checkout “Treme”, series on New Orleans after Katrina. Same folks did that and a lot of actors from the Wire. I liked them both, quality stories and characters.

A short run series on HBO called “Luck” also worth a look. Racetrack environment, gamblers, trainers, owners, jocks, mobsters. Only ran like 8-9 episodes.

I don’t watch much now, but will watch “Better call Saul” and “Billions”.

Treme i watched it. It was very good. Just not really re run over and over good. Maybe it is. It take another run and see

Never saw luck but saw the corner which obviously was the pre to the wire

Will have to check out luck

Snowfall is a good series to watch, is about a young fella coming up during the crack epidemic. Also A good true story movie White Boy Rick. Its about Rick Wershe Jr. being the youngest FBI informant at the age of 14 and also the informant for the Detroit Police. He was buying and selling drugs for them and started selling on his own. He got arrested in 1987 for having in excess of 8 kilos of cocaine. He was sentenced to life in Michigan. It made him the longest serving juvenile drug offender in the state of Michigan's history. He uncovered the worst case of police corruption in the history of police all the way to the mayor of Detroit.

Sons of Anarchy, Justified and now MC Mayan all we’re/are on FX....they just started a new series call Mr Inbetween.....

Breaking Bad was excellent, but a slow start. Almost quit on it in second season. Ending was very satisfying.

Ray Donovan wasn’t bad. Boston area mob type moves to LA working as a fixer for LA lawyers. RD, “You think you’re the first guy called me saying he woke up in bed with a dead girl?”

Justified had its moments, and I thought the pilot was pretty much the perfect series kickoff.

One benefit of getting older is you can tee up the Sopranos or Deadwood, and you’ve possibly forgotten 25-30% of them.
