OT: Great game on ESPN last night

St Johns College (DC) vs. De Le Salle (CA). From the start It looked like a mismatch SJC was bigger and faster almost looked like a Davey vs Goliath thing and it started out that way. SJC was dominant and had their way with them in all facets of the game. SJC was out in front 35-7 and it seemed impossible for DLS to comeback as they are a veer option team. Low and behold they stuck to who they are and grinded it out out. Old long story short they came back and won 38-35. Heart, Teamwork, Coaching, Discipline all on display last night It was great to watch

Another interesting observation as the cameras spent time on the coaches I noticed some things. While SJC was having there way and nothing was working for DLS the coaches weren't panicking and meeting to discuss what was going on and made good adjustments. On the flip side the SJC coaches were beeboping all over the place when up but started the yelling and blaming when tide turned. Coincidentally the players followed suit. Moral of story as a coach and leader be confident in what you are doing, stay the course and don't panick. Your troups will follow

During their 150 game winning streak (or there abouts) De La Salle was outweighed and had less speed than most teams they beat. IMO, the best high school program in the land.
