I don’t know who will win Offensive POY but if anyone other than Javon Peace of Dover wins it I would like to see their body of work this year.
No way Debo wins Defensive POY! Just because he is offered is not a valid reason!
I guess your bar is set low or you haven’t seen many games outside of Smyrna’s...this year.
Smyrna? you think the guys voting look at film of all the candidates and choose? lol no they write in names they recognize and offered kids leads the way ,, its how it works
This is how all state voting works
all the head coaches are sent a form and they write in 3 names at each position. if they dont know the names they look at all conference players and offered players they know of.. Not all the HC's even bother doing it...Its why the All State kids are from winning programs

Debo is a great player but there was a decline in the Smyrna program this year. We all know that a linebacker can’t play at a high level of the defensive line isn’t giving him the space to attack. Smyrna will be back but there are other programs building as well.
When are the all conference and all states selections chosen and released?
