Mount Pleasant was up 10 and going to the free-throw line with about a minute left in the game when I couldn’t take anymore and left
Harding wasn't in uniform, didn't get word on why, but he didn't look hurt. Maybe it was disciplinary reasons.
Once again top players not playing...Mt. Pleasant is not beating Penn w/ Harding in my opinion. Penn at FULL STRENGTH could win it all...outside of that they could go home early.
I don't know what to make of Penn. It looks like you can't count on anyone in the lineup consistently.
Harding would have made a difference sure. But this is a team that can't run an offense! The guards make lazy passes, ill-advised passes. The shot selection is bad. Mount played a 2-1-2 zone and they couldn't beat it.
The defense looked great against Smyrna, not nearly as good against Mount. Not even close.

Harding is leading scorer on that team.. If he aint playing.. They cant beat nobody... Period... Smh
Right! This game wasn't as close the score. After 9-2 start, Penn was outscored 23-5 over next 10 minutes.
Mount missed about 10 easy layups. They make these they win by 25 or more!
Penn obviously known for defense not offense. Problem is if they fall behind, like yesterday, it's tough for them to come back. A 10 point deficit feels like 20.
With that said, (hopefully) Harding comes back and they play better.
That was my first time seeing Penn in person this season and they have to play close to the perfect game each time to win against level competition. And Briggs is right, Mount bricked at least 10 or more from in close. Felt they also relied on the three a bit after #5 drained those two early ones, but if anybody thinks Mount's an easy out, they're in for a surprise.
the real games start on Tuesday. Pointless game and I’m shocked both teams didn’t send their freshman or jv teams. Imagine if Ali got hurt... any chance of them winning a game in the tournament is out the window
I don't know what he's talking about. BHC Championship game is the tune-up for the playoffs! BHC games usually are more tense then the playoffs. If you can win/be competative in that environment you are ready. Besides, if they didn't play in the BHC game that's a long time off from some real live game action. Too much rest is sometimes worse than no rest at all.
I think this is a big loss for Penn. Just knocked off Smyrna, this game would have given them a lot of momentum going into tournament. Most likely they get CR Thursday and that will be a test.
Mount should handle STMore then face a tough Tech squad. That could be a good one.
