i know nothing about cape so I cant predict a score or how it will play out. Just hope its a good gameCape Oline is way bigger than CA's but slow as crap though
may I ask... who do you believe is the all time best player to come out of this small but wonderful stateI am watching 1960's football.. I guess its kind of fun
how would I know? I only moved here in 2008.. I would guess Randy White?may I ask... who do you believe is the all time best player to come out of this small but wonderful state
Where did you move from? you seem like a kentuckianhow would I know? I only moved here in 2008.. I would guess Randy White?
Maryland. Harford County.. Abingdon to be exact.. Kentuckian? how do you come up with that?Where did you move from? you seem like a kentuckian
he will be back dont you worry... im predicting final game of the regular season
so how does that equate to he will be back don't you worry?.. Its a long shot CA even makes the playoffs..I have heard that his best case scenario is first playoff game. That's if the stars align and he has no set backs.
It doesn't.so how does that equate to he will be back don't you worry?.. Its a long shot CA even makes the playoffs..
sorry didnt realize you were a different poster,,It doesn't.
Cape will beat Caravel easily.. Way to big and physical.. Only thing will hold Cape back in d1 playoffs is qb not good all.....Hot? and I seriously doubt Barker will be back for play-offs.. baseball season yes..nor will Tatnall even sniff the ship.. Semi's will be Woodbridge, Glasgow, Milford and St G.. dont think CA will beat Cape.Hope they do but they have issues with bigger D1 teams
Bummy is unsure OT the exact meteorological facts. There was a classic mud bowl state D1 championship at Baynard in the early 90s in a Penn upset of Newark. John Madden would have loved it...
Nice analyzation.I would like to take this opportunity to chime in on the discussion. The only real championship contender in Division II would have to be The Tower Hill School Hillers. They have an amazing team led by a stud-filled secondary. Their offense is led by a fantastic offensive line. They have no weaknesses. My only criticism would be if they could find a quarterback who ran a little bit harder.
What did you think of them last year Bummy?Bummy saw the Hillers lose to Howard in the first round of the D2 tournament last year.
I assume that they are running the single wing again this year?
Interesting offense. My dad is smiling in heaven.
Bummy do they do any of the spin series?Having only seen them once is not enough time to draw an informed opinion. Suffice it to say Howard was fortunate to get the W. Then the next week Howard pulled one out against Friends @ TH. then the upset at the championship.
I thought TH was well coached. I liked their RB or whatever you call the guy that gets the snap in the Single Wing. If they still use that O they might be hard to prepare for.....
Don't forget TowerHill runs the best offense in D2 and have a great staff that knows how to utilize itI would like to take this opportunity to chime in on the discussion. Wing Back or Up back depends on where he lines upHaving only seen them once is not enough time to draw an informed opinion. Suffice it to say Howard was fortunate to get the W. Then the next week Howard pulled one out against Friends @ TH. then the upset at the championship.

I'm smiling because teams still use that wonderful offenseBummy saw the Hillers lose to Howard in the first round of the D2 tournament last year.

I have to agree with you on that. If a team with the talent of an elite program ran the single wing they'd be unstoppable.I'm smiling because teams still use that wonderful offense

My best recollection is that the TB ran a lot of sweeps. There weren't many fakes. I will probably go see them
again this year. Honestly, I was caught by surprise but I had to go 2 city teams.
They're decent. Against Delaware teams they gave up 35 against DMA, 18 against Tatnall, and 18 against Red Lion. Their other 3 games are against teams from Maryland and PA.From what I've heard, Tower Hill has a strong defense.
Interesting.Wing Back or Up back depends on where he lines up
I heard they played well against the tatnall running backThey're decent. Against Delaware teams they gave up 35 against DMA, 18 against Tatnall, and 18 against Red Lion. Their other 3 games are against teams from Maryland and PA.
Well considering they held him and the rest of the offense to only 18 points... yeah i guess you can say they did pretty well.I heard they played well against the tatnall running back
I love this offense everything about it is marvelousInteresting.
I always thought that this offense was the origin of the terms "quarterback, tailback, fullback, halfback" based on their alignment, and of course wing back.
The snap went to the fullback or tailback (deepest dude in the set), quarterback is the "sniffer" back that's close to the line, halfback is the other guy...
I guess I learned something new today!
Yeah but as far as I know, Tatnall didn't have any rushing TD's and not a lot of yards.Well considering they held him and the rest of the offense to only 18 points... yeah i guess you can say they did pretty well.
If matched with the right coach and personnel this could be the most dominate offense in high school football.I love this offense everything about it is marvelous
