Great playoff atmosphere in the second half. Central kicks about a 35 yard field goal with less than a minute for the win.

I believe that Appo beat SC very early in the year. In this State with so few schools vying for the Walnut Plaque it is probably an advantage to have lost in a earlier meeting . The old saying may be apt... it is hard to beat a good team twice.

Yes they played a little over a month ago and Appo stopped Central on a goaline stance as time expired for the win. Appo players exited out of the main entrance doing a lot of talking. Their cheerleaders were very loudly chanting “Appo” from the buses. They definitely enjoyed the moment on Central’s field…….Last night after the game the players found the back gate. Cheerleaders were quiet as well. All was well in Sussex County.
