Sallies too much size for St Marks although if Ludman for the Spartans had some help, it might have been a different outcome. Sallies not a playoff team IMO, too many young players making too many mistakes. Hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, Sallies could drop every game the rest of the way and their strength of schedule would have them in. I still have them as a darkhorse to win it again this year.

They'll get in the tournament. The next week will show how far they can go. They have Appo, Mt Pleasant and Sanford coming up. They don't match up well with any of them.

Junkie did Haley bully you as a child? Every chance you get you bash him. He's been the head coach for 3 years and has 2 state championships. He's doing something right

Sportsjunkie, I respect your perspective on Basketball and your evaluations, but what is the purpose of "trolling" coaches and programs on this site? Although St. Marks, and William Penn may not be the most individually talented, they are a solid programs, with good coaches. As for St. Es, who has a better combination young talent and experienced coaches? what do you get out of bashing these kids and coaches? If you are truly a "coach".

I'm sort of on Junkie's side. I'm still waiting to see how good coach Haley is. It makes things easier when you have the Player of the Year on your team, like he has had the past two seasons.

Understandable BUT there is a fine line between bashing and constructive criticism. Do I believe that Sallies coach is perfect? No but he is working with what he has a team that is dominated by freshman and very unexperienced players to be 7-4 Id have to say that he was doing a good job. Heres the thing instead of us going against the coaches and players how about we start bashing the real enemy the DIAA and its archaic way of being. No shot clock, No allowing the coaches to schedule more out of state games not allowing coaches to deal with their kids in the summer. The game is not growing here because of them not the coaches......

Excellent point, u said the one organization that draws my attention. DIAA is the enemy of progress. I have deleted my Haley comments DIAA is a more interesting topic. I agree 100% with your assessment. I would say though that many coaches like the system the way it is because it locks players in after freshman year. Kids and parents still find ways to move but for bad coaches this is the ideal situation. The good coaches are the ones being held back.
