Got the score off of Scorestream, which also had the other scores reported as they are here. I was surprised, too.

Just because a team is not in DE and most or all of us haven't seen them play, doesn't make them an automatic push over. That team is 5-0 including their win today.
Schedule wise, St Es has Friends and ANC on their upcoming schedule. So after that 3 team "round robin" is done we'll have a better idea of how flukey Friends losing to them was .....
and in terms of their record, all thought Friends would lose to WB and dub today, so they cxl each other out .....

yeah ok 5-0 vs who? Its low level football were talking about some of the lowest rated teams in the country Next step is 8 man football in Nebraska
Wayne... I don't necessary think it is fully about them being pushovers but Friends losing that game is surprising considering the last couple of years scores.

Voice - I don't disagree with your saying that result was a surprise, but at the same time it was more understandable than you would think. I also don't think you can pull out a couple of previous year's scores as a basis for locking in this year's game @ a similar score. After all, these are high school teenagers we're talking about here: players improve, players graduate, coaches change, etc.:
I took a quick look at DMAs website & noticed that DMA beat St Es 6 years in a row (2012-2017). Last year they beat them 42-7. What happened this year? After a team has improved, I think their kids really get up for games against teams they've been getting beat by year after year after year. I dk that much about New Church, but the impression I get is that they don't intend to have a football team just to have one, they are trying to build a winning program.
Now you can't just be an angry loser; you've got to improve 1st to be able to turn the tables & like I said, there's a common opponent in the mix. Let's see what Friends does @ St Es < 10/12 > and what St Es does @ ANC < 10/27 >
We have also seen examples of football teams (at all levels) getting a big emotional win and then coming out and losing to the next opponent that wasn't as good as the team they just beat. DDBballCoach thought Friends might benefit from catching WB coming off the Dover game; so maybe ANC benefitted from catching Friends coming off the WB game.
