Hard crosswind blows a 37-yard SG field goal attempt wide right. WP7, SG 0, 8:29 2Q

Just put an * next to DIAA playoffs 2018 and only let the 4 teams play a turkey bowl and championship game. The first round of games are going to be a joke. Central against sals...another goose egg. Dover or Middletown vs Appo...another goose egg. Yawn

If Penn wins out can get in at 5-5 over Appo and St G 42 pts.. They control their own destiny

If Penn wins this one next weeks game vs Appo winner gets the spot. Best Tech can get is 41 (D2 games hurting them) 42 is the golden ticket. Mervo went 9-1 giving Penn the 1 pt shot they needed

Penn has 3 9win D1 teams on schedule.. before today their 3 wins were Newark, Concord and Delcastle lol another interesting tidbit Appo and Penn both lost to CR

Current D1 Point Standings (including Bonus Points from games yet to be played)

1. Hodgson - 54 = 6.00
2. Middletown - 52 = 5.78
3. Sussex Central - 50 = 5.55
4. Dover - 48 = 5.33
5. Salesianum - 45 = 5.00
6. William Penn - 35 = 3.89
6. Appoquinimink - 35 = 3.89

7. St. George's - 33 = 3.67
7. Sussex Tech - 33 = 3.67

If I'm Not mistaken.....even if Appo beats Penn, and St. George's beats Delcastle.....They will remain tied, and St. George's best them in Head to Head. Giving St. George's the go ahead. Of course all this is mute if Penn wins.

OR am I wrong on totals??

SO IM WRONG! Lol. who knew!

Who ever wins will have 42. Best StG or Tech can do is 41. If penn wins a 6-4 Tech team will be outed on points by a 5-5 Penn . Makes sense though Penn has no D 2 teams and 3 9win D1,s. Tech has 2 D2 games on schedule

Now if St Marks upsets Sals and Sals doesn’t get that 7 wins that changes things. This all assuming heavy favorites hold serve.

So they do. Must be thinking of someone else. The math stands though. I didn’t do it lilBiBs did. He is usually spot on

So in all likelihood, the tournament open with Dover. Dover and the Sals play at Baynard next year.

Any chance of CR beating Dover this year??

Anybody know the story behind Morrisville (Pa.) vs. Wilmington Friends being cancelled?

Thought Morrisville didn't have enough players to field a team as they cancelled early but looking at Maxpreps they have been playing .. so not sure why.. not sure it matters they are terrible and Friends would have beaten them with ease by 50 or more.. Not sure why Friends didnt try and find a replacement game though guess they were happy taking the FFT and 4 pts

I was curious if it would count as a no contest for Friends or a forfeit win.

FFT win.. game was contracted.. They typically dont post games on websiteforsports until there is a contract.
