Yea crazy ending to Lake game. Hearn tried to argue but there was no reason to. Blame your own team for celebrating. As far as Lake, team is just not clicking. Defense is solid but Johnsons offense just isn't very good. Predictable offense as usual and doesn't have the athletes and OL to run it. Don't see them as a true contender barely squeaking by teams like Delmar and Woodbridge.
Laurel could very well beat Lake next week and then Milford would be the Henlopen South leader. Who saw THAT coming?
Do not sleep in Indian River.They may have three losses, but I believe they were punching above their weight class in those games. At the end of the day, Lake still is 2-0 in the South as well. Ont thing is for sure, some teams are starting to fall by the wayside.
Late in the game frustration set in for the Appo fans. Immediately following a personal foul on WP a fan screamed out to the refs looking for an ejection and then said the young boy should be executed immediately afterward. We have to remember that these are just kids and it is just a game. WP did dominate but there was energy on the Appo sideline throughout.
