Getting nasty on here.

St Georges is the favorite for sure. Still have to play the games though. Didn't see the DMA game today but I was impressed with them when I did see them . Archmere is a very well coached team in my opinion. Always are . One loss doesn't make or break a season.

Howard should still get in as long as they beat Dickinson next week. They'll also get a bonus point each from St. G and Smyrna getting to 9 wins and if Mount wins next week, one more point for a 7-win opponent.

does Archmere still have a shot if they beat SE's next week, have won 4 in a row, all in convincing fashion, DMA never really got close to scoring all day, 8 turnovers, must have sacked the QB 4-5 times and mixed the pass and run on offensive very well, them seem to have figured out their game day coaching situation with the head coach who is also the OC battling cancer.

I said it on the Friday night score thread. Do not count out Lake. They played St. Georges even at their scrimmage, I know it was a season ago but there wasn't huge difference in talent.

In my opinion there is no dominant div II team this year. St. Georges may be the best of a variety of good teams but their one dimensional offense could be a weakness come playoff time. Every schedule could be critiqued as well as every offensive and defensive strategy but what it will come down to is which team has the biggest heart.

More inconsistent than weak RR.

Father Judge is a good team who plays a tough schedule. Their losses are to 8-0 Haverford # 9 in Pa ; 9-0 North East High; 5-3 LaSalle # 4 in PA and 6-2 St Joes Prep # 1 in PA.....LaSalle and St Joes plays regional powers.

I do believe Sallies was flat after the crazy marathon game with Smyrna and did not play their best. Even so a few bad plays made the difference in a 7 point loss that could've been a win

Of course bigger states have stronger football overall and the teams who actually do recruit like St Joes and the DC teams Ravens used to idolize are significantly stronger than DE teams.

lol I don't idolize any teams.. That is nonsense.. By weak I meant for DE standards.. The top teams recently were all ranked in the top 300.. I think Middletown even cracked the top 200. No one is saying whomever wins it this year arent good teams just that the competition is down across the board.. For example Father Judge is ranked 1734 Nationally and 67 in PA.. Sallies 659 nationally.. Just dont think there is top 300 team in DE this year... no big deal
