Saturday scores

He will run up the score...
its the Middletown way...haha

just saying

Had the opportunity to score last week against CR to make 24-7 instead of 17-7, but he kneed it to end the game.

But I see where your coming from.

Middletown won 48-6. No running up the score. Cavs played back ups in the 2nd half. No late fake punts.

According to Brad Myers, Brandywine fumbled a half yard before the end zone on the 2-pt conversion that would've given them the lead. Rough way to lose a game.

Yea initially Brandywine got it from my view and ref even signaled he did. Didn't really see the fumble. Lake may be the least impressive 3-0 team in the state. They play like this against Laurel and IR.... Lets just say it won't be pretty. Brandywine isn't a bottom feeder team by any means but Lake haven't looked impressive in any of their 3 games. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if the 0-3 Delmar Wildcats came to Felton and upset them. Too many mental errors. Counted at least 6 or 7 turnovers in the 3 games. Flamer is a very good player but he looks a step slower this year. Don't know if he's injured or not but he just doesn't look the same as last year.

raven, were Ai"s points scored on Penn's first team defense. As I have declared them to be a great defense I would like the scoop.

Lake is very one dimensional on offense. #22 is an absolute stud. They run him to death. Brandywine was loading the box and Lake was still running up the middle. I know Lake's QB is out but a little diversity in the play calling would help. Been to a couple of Lake games, if they are going to contend they are going to have to open up the offense and find some other weapons and open up the box for 22. Defense is solid Brandywine didn't do much on offense, they had one long pass that was about it.

That won't happen SCash. Johnson's offense is the definition of one-dimensional. Passing is rare and when he does call a pass, it's mostly roll-outs or whatever. He doesn't believe in the QB just dropping back and throwing the ball. I mean I've watched Lake games for years and it's like he's scared to throw the ball. The offense works when you have the athletes for it. It worked a couple of years ago when they had the best player in the state at RB in Quadir Bryant. The offense doesn't have to speed to run to the outside.... They rely on a lot of counters, misdirections, etc. Lake did have two key injuries today in starting QB and RB/LB DJ Cornish. Not exactly an excuse because two players don't make a team. Not sure on either injuries but hopefully they're back soon.

Also I thought Lakes D was solid today. It wasn't a great performance but a lot of them boys were definitely gassed from playing both ways and it showed. Lakes depth is concerning to say the least. #36 was getting absolutely manhandled by the receiver today. Brandywine when looking for a big play always looked at the WR his way. Brandywine has some nice weapons and definitely some big boys up front. #77 was doing a good job on Flamer all day.
