Might have to temper my sals v smyrna prediction. The team appo hung 60 on is losing to woodbridge 35.0

Well, RR2, while I’ll grant you that nobody can really brag about the rest of Cecil County high school football presently, I DO believe the Elkton High School Golden Elk football program ain’t all THAT bad - wouldn’t you agree??!!

LOL Congrats to Elkton they were clearly the better team.. Quite honestly the score should have been worse like 28-3 or 21-3... You have some nice players clean up the penalties and ball security then you guys might take the Susky...
Its gonna be ugly in D2 play-offs.. teams with weak schedules like friends , tatnall, tower hill may get in on points and good teams with tough schedules may get bounced..

Caravel was so predictable. Run up the middle on 1st, run a sweep or toss on 2nd, and throw on 3rd and long because it was 3rd and long way more times than it was 3rd and short. Not to mention rolling their LEFT-handed QB out to the right to throw across his body..........smh
Elkton has way more size and athletes than CA but they are so undisciplined its unbelievable. They probably had close to 200yds in penalties! That's the ONLY thing that kept CA in the game.
RR2 is right. Score should have been way more lopsided than the 7-3.

Subtle move by DMA this year. They have two Division I schools on the schedule this year: Polytech and Charter. Hmmmmmmmm
Mckean 20 ghigh19. Ghigh qb got hurt early and team played waaaaaayyyyy down to McKean's level. Trap game (Hodgson next week) but props to the Highlanders.
uggh... like I said the best two teams in D2 played last week .. HVT and Lake.. I guess St Marks is in that mix as well.. D2 is ugly this year ..

Smyrna, meanwhile, is what I imagine Chip Kelly really would want his offense to be. They made Appo look absolutely pedestrian tonight...which makes you wonder just how bad Polytech is going to be considering the Jags hung 60 on them last week.

If Sallies plays like they did tonight they sure as hell will lose to Smyrna, they easily outweighed CR's line by 20/30# each and CR ran successfully right between the tackles. I've seen both of Sallies games and I'll bet they've been drawn offsides 9 or 10 times easy...their offense is solid, Cannon hasn't had to throw much but he can sling it when he needs to. Looks like a real barn burner next Friday night.
St. Marks and Lake was a battle of two bad offenses. Wilson and Johnson coached their usual terrible games that we are accustomed to. Wilson found a way to keep the ball out of #1's hands most of the game. Johnson finds a way to stay consistent with his -1 yard and a cloud of dust offense. Lake defense just out played St.Marks on O and got kickoff and a long run. St. Marks better hope they can find a way to get 1 the ball consistently and more often. Lake better pray that D, can keep people out of the end zone. Because they can't move the ball, they might have had 5 first downs all game.
Sals will have to score 40 to beat Smyrna.. I dont think Sals knows how to stop a a O like Smyrna.. Not sure any DE HS coaches do... and even if they do know how you have to have the athletes to match up to do it... You may be able to score but you need stops to beat them,,,
