And THIS is what I meant when I said that Smyrna's toughest opponent is Smyrna. Kids still thinking that they are more important than the team and getting unsportsmanlike penalties by running their mouths. It's only in the 2Q so I don't know how this game will turn out but the same BS all season that hasn't been nipped yet. Against good teams, every yard counts. Giving away yards with tantrums is a quick way to a loss.

Easy with the Blue Hen conference.. Not like you are talking about the SEC.. Just relax with that. Believe me he has coached against very, very good teams. Smyrna will be just fine. Not his first rodeo. When you get to the state semifinals they are all good teams. No easy games.
The radio coverage of STG vs WB game on 105.9 Lewes is a joke. Cuts out constantly. I think STG just fumbled around their own 35 with less than 6 minutes to go but they cut to a commercial just as I heard fumbles the ball. Still waiting to see what happened.

I don't know if Smyrna can hold on, but Knight is proving to be one of those players you end up looking back on as a once in a generation talent.

Wish I was there...quite a contrast of the defensive play from both teams in comparison to what most on this forum predicted.
