Smyrna play day!

It was worth the ride.. Too.. Smryna, Cape and Mount played real well..
Rickards from Cape is pretty good.. Mathews did well shooting the ball against zones.. Bigs from Smryna did well too.. Wish Cape played Smryna though.. Sallies going to miss Ali
His game is alot better..

Watch Ali at Smryna Playday... I see why he had to leave Sallies... Sallies system doesnt fit His style of play... Sallies pass and pass hit the player för Open shot and look for Ingram down low.. His game is more of up tempo and attack when everything breaks down... Instead pass alot..

Ali can play in any system, he is one of the few young point gaurds I've seen in the area that has the total package including IQ. Kid controls tempo with ease and can find anyone with the passing. Sallies I think had to change with the addition of 3 kids they're not accustomed to, that situation in my opinion needed another year but I don't see any negatives in any of this since both teams & all the kids are doing well.

I'm interested to see Mount with Ali, I didn't get a chance to see him play at Sallies last year, if he's as good as this board advertises, Mount should be fun to watch.

Matthews, Ali and Rickards impressed. Smyrna 7 footers rebounded, blocked shots and ran the floor well. Worth the drive down to see them in person.
Matthews jacks and looks to be able to shoot you in or out of the game. Ali! That kid there might be my fav guard in the state. Kid is smooth.

If Rickards keeps himself on the court for Cape there aren't many teams that can stop the attacking kid that showed up at the play day. He was playing both sides of the court and had great body language he will be tough. Ali is a problem flat out! He will be a bigger reason why Mount wins than Kramer. Nothing against Kramer but Ali controls the game.
