One of the most anticipated match ups of the year, early in the season but caravel only played one game vs a horrible team... Who do you have in this matchup?

Definitely be there to find out.... My breakdown is Bloodworth is better than Alderman and Parker is a little better than Matthews. . but Caravel has no answer for Garnett.. He is the X Factor... Smyrna play inside out they should win by 5-7 pionts... And this is Caravel 2 game too...
thats where i disagree, bloodsworth when he played alderman scored 2 points average vs caravel in both their games vs. them alderman had about 15. It will be a great guard battle though.

I would have to disagree...even if they can contain Garnett (which I seriously doubt considering he torched them for 28 pts & 11 rebs in last year’s Championship game) that backcourt of Bloodsworth & Matthews are more than capable of carrying them to a W vs teams in Delaware on any given night. Parker will need to have a huge game for Caravel to win but I’m thinking it will be a close game.
Okoye will need a big game to earn a W at Smyrna. Great point on it only being game #2 for CA and the 1st opponent sounded pretty weak.

Time will tell. Not basing anything on scoring vs. Tri-State Christian. Hopefully he’s a player that will only increase the competition in DE.

Great game, all credit to smyrna on winning the rematch. However, wouldn't be surprised seeing them play each other in the state championship game. Only caravel's second game, to smyrna's 4th, however seemed like a lot of calls helping smyrna.

I mean I wasn’t at the game so I can’t speak on that....but first you made a comment about Caravel winning easily if they contain Garnett, now it’s only Caravel’s 2nd game compared to Smyrna’s 4th AND lastly you are insinuating that Smyrna had some homecooking via the refs...LoL I’m not sure if you are a Caravel fan/supporter or just don’t wanna see Smyrna win but it’s clearly sounding like sour grapes to me.
It’s funny that you say that Parker had an off night because although I wasn’t at the game I took a look at the box score & saw that Parker had 18 w/ no 3s & 4-8 from the free throw line which stood out to me because he is a shooter.
You mentioned the Earl kid earlier who you said was a sophomore & I see he had 23 & has led Caravel in scoring these first 2 games...did he transfer in to Caravel from somewhere else?
no i believe, he was just a freshman on the team last year i remember seeing him play at the Bob however he has improved his game ALOT..
