Smyrna vs St.George scrimmage

Smyrna takes 1st quarter 10-6
6'10 Abba from Smyrna led the way with 7 of the 10 pts. Had a tip in dunk, converted an and-1, then had an easy rebound for the put back
Both big guys did a good job protecting the basket and alternating shots

St George was off shooting in the first
Hyland missed all his jump shots but did have a fastbreak lay up
Rawls got it going attacking the basket finishing among the trees

Pretty sure St George guards will heat up tho
Looks like the bench is playing the 2nd quarter

Was at the scrimmage and Hyland is def a player. Smryna guards are good enough they just have to play from inside out.

Don't know if it would have made a difference but Garnett did not play for Smyrna...does anyone know why he did not play?

He took himself out of practice. Serving 2 game suspension. He has a very full gown up plate to be still so young. I pray his support system doesn't fail him.

Agreed, this young man has some difficult circumstances ahead of him wish nothing but the best for the young man.
