Newark moves to 9-2 with their 7th straight victory, 65-56 final. St Andrews was very scrappy and gave Newark all they could handle tonight. St Andrews got the game tied at 52-52 but Newark hung on for the win. Newark played good in spurts, but overall a performance like tonight, won't beat a good team. Best player on the floor tonight was 9th grader Adrian Watts. Congratulations to Kineph Turner for scoring his 1000th high school point tonight on a typical spectacular driving layup in traffic in the 3rd quarter.

Nothing special, but they played hard tonight and Newark did not have one of their better games. and you'd be smart to not take this team lightly. I was impressed with their ninth grader Watts.
