Why Horrible? If you were a new head coach of a program would you bring in your own people who knows the way you like things to be done or would you keep everyone that was already there? Think about it. Regardless of how long someone has been there, when change is needed then change has to be done. If that was a change that Rub said it needed to be done then so be it. Too much entitlement in this world...
Agreed. New coach can't keep everyone from past coach. Need to bring new life into program. Keeping freshmen and jv coach makes sense. One les thing to worry about when trying to find coaches to fill those spots. Now his asst should be his guys.
Exactly. It is very hard to find coaches that are committed to make it everyday especially at the JV and Freshman levels. The Freshman and Jv coaches are St. E people and they are committed to the school. He knows what he is doing.
I spoke to two close friends/coaches who have known Rubincam for a long time. They both said he will make tough decisions for the improvement of the team. They also stated he is not afraid to make the tough decisions. According to my source, he is very tough but fair.
