Sean Greene tweeted out two pics this afternoon (wish I knew how embed tweets):

Baynard's bleachers are all the way down and DMA's bleachers/press box are all the way up. Looks like the business of the 2019-20 athletic year is already underway.

Gate, I think you are going to really like Abessinio. The I-95 side will be the home side. It will have a walkway at the top of the bleachers so you will be able to move around. It will have a reception room sort of like an enlarged super box. There will also be VIP seating in front of the box. (The seating capacity on the RR side will be reduced.)

The parking area will be pretty much the same but will be reconfigured to be more efficient.

There will be a statue of Coach Montero.

Now, I have to stay alive until 2020 to see this.

Amen to staying alive.

I had a lot of memories tied to Baynard - seeing DSU blow Cheyney's doors off in 6th grade, watching my Godbrother play for Howard, then trying to follow in his footsteps unsuccessfully, then covering games there over the course of adulthood and my career. Loved the old place, but things change with time. Looking forward to driving by every few months and seeing the Ab go up until it's completed.
