Definitely think Grandel can get to the finals. He does very well at wrestling through the whole match. I’d like to see him versus Craig and Howard. I think Grandel could out work Craig but I think I’d favor Howard if they meet in the semis. Radecki however beats both.I’m hoping to see an Indy Finals rematch as the State Championship in 144.
I was curious about that seeding as well but hughart has an early season win over Milford 157 but that’s his big win. My assumption is some random common opponent caused the seeding but Pete and Dixon hands down better.I notice 165 pounds has Pete at 4, and then Dixon at 3. Why is Hughart above both of them? It should be 2 Dixon, 3 Pete, Hughart 4. Does he have wins over them that I’m unaware of? Doesn’t seem like record played a part in the decision either.
Beating Jewell, that rightfully hit Perrin for stalling, but then they add like 20+ seconds back on the clock. Jewell scores TD with seconds left. So wrong. Kid deserved that win.👀 what happened
Brutal. Absolutely awful way to lose a match.Beating Jewell, that rightfully hit Perrin for stalling, but then they add like 20+ seconds back on the clock. Jewell scores TD with seconds left. So wrong. Kid deserved that win.
Watched the match, seemed like perin had that stalling game plan ready for Jewell. Also questionable 2 near fall that lead to that lead. I think that match had questionable refereeing in general and that had been a observable throughout the year.Beating Jewell, that rightfully hit Perrin for stalling, but then they add like 20+ seconds back on the clock. Agree the takedown was legit but the 2 near fall was very questionable and the stalling was horrible. IMO 4 straight mins of stalling by Perrin. Did he ever shoot the last two periods?Watched the match, seemed like perin had that stalling game plan ready for Jewell. Also questionable 2 near fall that lead to that lead. Maybe that guy just had a bad night. In a crazy 113 match with Lake and AI I think it is he gave the AI kid 2 NF, the scorer never recorded it, there was so much action the next 45 seconds or so that when the coach reminded him about the 2 pts he didn’t remember. Kid lost anyway but it was undoubtedly 2 points missed.Watched the match, seemed like perin had that stalling game plan ready for Jewell. Also questionable 2 near fall that lead to that lead. Incorrect. Great match between 2 tough kids. Perrin executed a near perfect game plan, that unfortunately relied on a very defensive posture. He definitely caught Jewel with the throw but the 2 nearfall was problematic. The clock was badly mismanaged, the added time was necessary. Id be lying if I could tell you how much time actually rattled off. But on at least 2 occasions Jewel was center in the mat and Perrin was hesitant in working towards center and at the end Perrin was literally straddling the out-of-bounds maker. Jewel had to go track him down. Perrin did not take any shots from neutral in the final 2 periods. Ill say his defense against Jewels shots was fantastic as Jewel was unable to finish on several good opportunities. Shame that a great match was impacted by suspect officiating and poor clock work. But to say he was robbed is not correct.Perrin got straight up robbed at 150!
