Getting stuck in the mud at Dover sucked, until I went out and tried to get my car out of the mud. Trust me, it was deep and lethal. After taking care of my obligations at the gym, I ventured outside in the wild hope that I could get my car unstuck. To my surprise, there was a great deal of activity going on. There was a tow truck and a bunch of people. The tow truck was looking to make a buck, the people were looking to get their cars out.

The people won, they worked together and got their cars out. The people were young, old, black, white and of other race. They were skinny and fat like me. Dover fans, Milford fans and just plain basketball fans, stuck in the mud.

Even after a hotly contested game, everyone worked together and got all the cars out. Probably the best time I have ever had at a Delaware sporting event, just people doing the right thing. Thank you Dover/Milford.

Great to see people coming together
I helped a guy and his wife out the mud and told multiple people not to park in the mud before the game. The game was also very entertaining

We have paved parking lots above the the canal! Sorry, I couldn't resist. Nice to hear everyone was helping each other out.

Yup, but the athletic facilities south of the canal are so much better. Particularly but not exclusively for your favorite sport.

By the way, Ikey, I'm just glad you were able to get your car out. Because if you didn't, your muddy ass wasn't going to be catching a ride home with me.

Rooster sings.... " Stuck in the mud with you, stuck in the mud with you, helpers the left of me, tow trucks to the right, here i am, stuck in the mud with you...."

dang I thought everyone in Milford had 4WD Pick-Ups.. Mud shouldn't be an issue...hehe :p
While I do have a Jeep, that is presently assigned to my son. It would have performed tow duty the next day. As my son was well into a 20-something birthday party, he was in no shape to drive Friday night.
