Getting stuck in the mud at Dover sucked, until I went out and tried to get my car out of the mud. Trust me, it was deep and lethal. After taking care of my obligations at the gym, I ventured outside in the wild hope that I could get my car unstuck. To my surprise, there was a great deal of activity going on. There was a tow truck and a bunch of people. The tow truck was looking to make a buck, the people were looking to get their cars out.
The people won, they worked together and got their cars out. The people were young, old, black, white and of other race. They were skinny and fat like me. Dover fans, Milford fans and just plain basketball fans, stuck in the mud.
Even after a hotly contested game, everyone worked together and got all the cars out. Probably the best time I have ever had at a Delaware sporting event, just people doing the right thing. Thank you Dover/Milford.
