Tatnall at Charter 330PM Today

Due the expectation of an overflow crowd with the residual traffic issues we are being asked to get to this game early. Charter is on a one game winning streak; something that its fan base did not anticipate.

Anybody have the point spread on this one. I say Tatnall by 6 1/2.

There are times that humor may seem like a putdown. It is meant in humor alone. I believe Tatnall starts all underclassmen. Their coach will rebuild the program. They have great facilities and a supportive community.

I am glad that the smaller schools are playing FB. I just wish that there could be some parity in the conferences. Same deal with Charter. Upon reflection, maybe the Blue Hen Conference should have let them go to Flight B for FB,

..and here is another thought. Maybe the smaller schools should play on Mondays...They probably don't have JV or Freshmen teams. It would be their day and we could have the Monday posting cycle..

I agree something needs to change. Dickinson dropped down to a JV schedule last year and the universe did not explode.

Agreed. A 3rd division would just be barely a step above Pop Warner/CYO ball and a lot of schools just won't get the numbers they used to get because of school choice and things like that. Sad, but that's what it is.

How is it done in PA? I know Unionville plays Coatesville every year. I think they are in same division. But they do not see each other in the playoffs.
Not sure if that system would work in DE.

Unionville has not played Coatesville since 2012. PA has 1A - 6A classicifications and corresponding point system based on enrollment and wins.

Unionville is in the Chesmont American Division which is compromised of the smallest enrollment in the group of 5As.

Coatesville is in the Chesmont National Division which includes them with three 6A schools the three largest 5A schools and one 4A school (Bishop Shanahan).

You are correct that they do not meet in the playoffs because they are not in the same enrollment classification.
