UPDATED NC 7V7 STANDINGS

Based on the number of southern teams at the DIFCA tournament I think so but I don't the issue is making Dover a host site. It is who is going to run it (or govern it). 7v7 is governed by NCC but ran by the host schools who are also DE HS vets. Dover is Kent County so I don't think they can have a host site there.

Sure they could. If Maryland teams can be in it.. Caravel hosts and they are private property not run by NCC.. They would just need the HC down their to admin and I guess approval from the school district.. I don't see why they couldn't do it but the want to would have to be there.. I mean if teams from other counties can play in the league then they should be able to be a host site for games

I would think the bigger issue would be that there are only so many teams so only so many host sites.. I would think Dover would have to get commitments from at least 3 or for south teams to play

Didn't say they can't be in it but there is not a host site outside of NCC. How can you have a league backed by NCC and governing a location outside of the county. Don't know the schools are getting a portion of the registration but none of the schools are ran by the county. The reason they have Maryland schools to get participation numbers up since some DE schools are not playing.

Really what needs to happen is that DIAA rule needs to obviously catch up with times and change the rule. The schools themselves can then save money and not pay $400+ a team to do 7v7. Coaches could organize it themselves and play same schedule. North already have their sites. Dover area schools can play games and lower DE can play against each other. You may lose some games like Smyrna/Mtown playing in the Dover area and not up north but you'll have more participation due to less cost and travel.

Maybe $150-200 per school to cover refs for the season.

Did anyone happen to make it out to St Mark for the 7 vs 7 last night? curious how the teams looked.
