Upsets at Team States???

Only underdog I’m choosing to win in opening round is William Penn over Smyrna and that’s just a maybe. Is This First States first team states? Rough draw with Laurel but hey atleast you made it to team states. No upset there. I’m going to go with the highly recruited team of Sals to win D1 and Underdog Laurel to win D2

I think Sallies and DMA win easily. Maybe St Marks can knock off DMA but I do not think so. CR and St Marks both can keep it close within the respective favorites but I think both favorites win by 10-15 points.

Laurel by 40! St Marks could possibly pull it off if they don’t have anything crazy happen against Laurel. Woodbridge’s new coaches this year did a good job.

Sals should roll through D1. CR-SC may get interesting.

I have a hard time believing they can hang with laurel. First state wrestles one of the weakest schedules in the state the only way they beat laurel is if the whole team has the flu. There’s no shame in losing just making it for the first time to the tournament means they are on the right path

After that there's a few toss ups but I just think laurel comes out on top because they wrestle a tougher schedule and are battle tested I cant say the same about first state because like said before they wrestle on of if not the weakest schedule in the state sure it looks good for you padding your record but when it comes time for real matches you just don’t have what it takes. My advice is try to add acouple tougher schools it’s ok to lose as a team but it prepares you for the big show. Maybe I’m wrong? Time will tell.

If first state comes out like they did at the beginning of the year, they can compete with Laurel. A few wrestlers have been sick the past two weeks, so they've been sluggish on the mats, which has shown in their last two losses. FSMA, in their first state tournament, has many people writing them off because they are a small school, and no one has really paid attention to them. However, they’ve had a lot of kids placing at tournaments throughout year. I may be biased because my son is on the team, but there's a good chance they keep it close, if not pull off the upset. IMO

I agree they just match up with Laurel I watch a lot of wrestling and I am wrong at times but it will be a good match - a pin fest I think lol
